Portraits
Who's that:
Using a portrait (photo, painted, etc.) you pick up at a junk/thrift shop, write a backstory for the person in it, and perhaps alter the portrait with available art supplies. Add it to your visual/art journal.
Pop:
Create a pop art-inspired portrait of a historical figure, or from a family portrait.
Shapes:
Create a self-portrait using only the shapes of the letters of your name.
Abstract:
Create an abstract self-portrait.
Blots:
Make some ink blots and turn them into characters, monsters, animals, or portraits.
