If you could be a teenager living in any decade, which one would you choose?
Without any doubt, I'd want to be a teen a few years ahead of the time I actually was one. Say, from 1975 to 1985 or so. Why? So I could have the chance to be a young person at CBGBs and in London in punk's nascent and middle stages, watching bands like The Ramones, Television, The Clash, The Buzzcocks, The Stranglers (and the rest) hit the stage. I'd want to feel that energy myself.
