I have a friend who doesn't like sandwiches. Yeah, doesn't sound right to me either. I don't get it. How could anyone not like sandwiches? It's nature's way of making dinner simple and portable. It suits every meal of the day. You can put just about anything on two slabs of bread and call it a snack. It's good hot or cold, good sweet or savoury too. One of these days, I really should ask him how it is he can go through life without the appreciation of sandwiches. I hope he likes toast. It'd be inhuman if he didn't.
