Autumnal

It's officially autumn now, and we barely had a summer. That's all right by me really, since I'm not a fan of the heat. I like my nice middling temperatures; the ones you get in spring and fall. What's the best thing about autumn? Leaf-scuffing. Kicking or dragging your feet through piles of dried leaves is one of the most enjoyably soothing activities imaginable. But it can't be rushed. You must put your mind to it; rather, you have to be "in touch" with it, or you miss the soothing effects; you can feel the calmness sneaking up your body.
