In the winter, when it's frigid here, and I'm hating it, I like to check the temperatures in places like Yellowknife and the Berring Strait. I don't feel so bad about the cold after that. It's a pretty good method of not feeling quite so bad about the temp, unless you happen to live in one of those freakishly northern wastelands.
