• Life is far too short and precious a thing to spend it being constantly angry, petty, holding grudges, being intentionally bitter and nasty, being hateful and hating, and being abrasive.
• Being constantly any of the above is a waste of time, energy, and brain power. Yours, mine, and everyone else's.
• Anger and bitterness are not the only way to react to life's little difficulties. You don't have to be a jerk.
• Inner peace is not a waste of time, nor is it a fallacy, a fakery, or impossible to attain.
• Thinking well of people, despite their faults, is not a waste of time, nor is it all that difficult.
• Enjoying someone's company, and making the best of situations, despite negatives in them and yourself and the situation, is not a waste of time.
• Being overly judgemental is a waste of time.
• Allowing people to simply be, and learning to roll with the punches, is not a waste of time.
• Accepting people as they are, without trying to force them into a role only in context of yourself, is not as difficult as you may think it is.
• You can be firm, resolute, have a spine, be ballsy, and speak your mind, without being an asshole about it.
• Capitulation and not speaking your mind are a waste of time.
• Disagreements don't need to equate to a war of opinion or personality.
• It is not true that strength of personality and character means you are an asshole.
• You don't throw people out of your life simply because you don't always agree with them, what they do, or what they think.
• Being forthright does not equate to being an asshole, and being forthright is also not as hard as you may think it is.
• Deceptiveness is a waste of time.
• Lies are worse than a waste of time; they are a waste of good karma, and serve no purpose but to destroy trust and faith and make the liar look like an asshole.
• It's not difficult to treat even the worst of people as a human being. Everyone deserves to be granted their humanity.
• Everyone has value.
• Being a deliberate asshole, just for the sake of being an asshole, is a waste of time.
• Lead your own life, stop expecting all the answers from everyone else, take responsibility for yourself, and if life gives you lemons (or you make the lemons yourself) suck it up, roll with the punch you got, and move on.
• Be supple, being rigid in your thinking, actions and beliefs is a waste of time, and is what lands most folks at the breaking point.
• Grace and class are not a waste of time, nor are they all that difficult.

• Life deals out its own justice. Although life is not fair, most people usually end up getting what they deserve.

• Being someone you aren't, is a waste of time. Fakery is a deception, be real.
• Diplomacy and tact are not a waste of time.
• You get out of life what you put into it, good and bad.
