Honestly, I don't buy into the concept of celebrating Valentine's Day.

Assuming for the moment that I was in love with someone, in a relationship, committed, one day out of the whole year to produce evidence of the above means not one damned thing. If I can't believe in the person all the time, then roses in the frigid bowels of winter aren't going to give me anymore peace of mind or anymore faith. True romantic feeling, passion, honey bunches of oats, are things that need constant work, input, effort. It's not anymore special of a day than any other, and if you can't celebrate your love for someone all the time, well...
