The last time I watched the movie Robin Hood - the one with Errol Flynn of course, there can be no other - I noticed that he's got sparkles on his tunic. Now, I'm not the font of all human knowledge (I leave that to Wikipedia), but I'm fairly sure that no one wore sequins during the 13th century, particularly not whilst killing the king's deer in the forest.
