We all protect ourselves, which is normal, right, and fair, but sometimes we protect ourselves too much, and end up choking our chances for happiness and peace. How much is too much protection? How far is too far? Too far might be when you cause others to sacrifice themselves for your sense of peace and preservation. Sometimes you have to realise that you're too strenuously protecting yourself, that the protection is no longer a safe zone or buffer, but has become a prison.
