Yet another phone-to-find-a-mate commercial graces the flat screen of my television. The woman holding the telephone receiver does that back-jerk that's supposed to indicate she's laughing her tarty little arse off at the voice down the other end of the line. What it really looks like, though, is that someone's just jammed a hot poker up her fanny (North American version: backside).

While I know that there are some things that are so mindblowingly funny that you can contort yourself quite artfully laughing at them, I don't think anything's so funny that you put yourself into traction because of it.
