perfumery
A life without lessons is not much of a life, and in my time on this earth (so far) I've learned many a lesson. The latest being this:
When applying perfume to your person, ensure that the nozzle is pointing towards your desired target; otherwise, you will end up making someone or something else smell better than you do, and that just can't be tolerated.
This lesson is especially noteworthy when applying perfumes anywhere near the facial region, particularly when your mouth is open.
