I like snippets of opera, but I've never seen a whole one. I'm not sure I'd be able to enjoy a whole one at once. I like choral music though, hence my "thing" for the Ode. Speaking of, the one and only time I've seen the 9th performed live, I cried the entire length of the fourth movement. I just couldn't stop I was so moved.
