Exactly what is it that turns a rational soul into a completely self-absorbed shit? Is there no point at which a person thinks, "Gosh, what I'm doing is going to make me look stupid or hurt someone needlessly."? It's a completely pointless, and very infuriating, quanta of behaviour. My usual reaction is, "Oh for the love of gawd, build a bridge and get over yourself."
