I just remembered this gawd-awfully strange rhyme from when I was a kid. I'm trying to figure out what the hell it means; but then again, considering the last line of it, it's probably got something to do with drugs. (Shades of H.R. Puffnstuf, maybe.)

In the land of Oz
Where the ladies smoke cigars
Every puff they take
Is enough to kill a snake
When the snake is dead
They put roses in its head
When the roses die
They put diamonds in their eyes
When the diamonds break
It's the end of nineteen sixtyeight
