I thought perhaps that it was just me getting old and crotchety, but nope, people are in fact getting ruder.

It's not even just that; they seem to be getting more thoughtless, less aware of their environments or the needs of others around them, and more apt to looking for something to be openly hostile about. People seem to want to be pissed off about something.

Calm rationale seems a lost art, a forgotten one.
