While I appreciate the allure of various kinds of kink, it never fails to disturb me that, as a culture, we have managed to progress so far technologically as to create a machine that can fuck you by virtue of plugging it in and pressing a button. That's dissassociative in ways I can't even begin to describe to you. We are using machines to make machines to interact with in ways that are, in some estimations, the ultimate in human acts: artificial intelligence "psychotherapy" bots, MP3 players that keep us solitary and isolated even in a crowd; and, now, fuck machines.
