Fight, Flight, or Fraser
One could argue that the type of militaristic terminology which has become invisible to us (whose meaning and origin are lost in time, and are no longer a part of popular knowledge) still affects us greatly. Consider my personality which has been described by some to be argumentative, confrontational, overt, judgmental, critical, belligerent; all traits assigned to that part of the psyche wherein also lies the desires for war, battle, and killing. Is this my fault? Obviously not; it's the influence of secret military metaphor from my given name of Lonita, which is a diminutive for the Spanish male name Alonso meaning "ready for battle". Even my own clan's motto affects me. It is "Je suis pret" which translates to "I am ready". There you have it; ever since birth someone has designed that I am (ready) for battle. It may also give a slightly different interpretation of the phrase "Fight, Flight, or Fornication": "Fight, Flight, or Fraser".
