I find prognostication, in its many forms, entertaining, but I long ago stopped looking to divination as an answer for my future or an explanation of my past. I don't believe my life is guided by stars, cards, or the entrails of a goat. It's frustrating to see people so caught up in such things that their lives become governed by generalised explanations. There's nothing really personal about it, nothing that can truly tell you what's to come. There's probably more truth in statistics than in tea leaves and tarot cards. They remain an enjoyable diversion, but they aren't truth.
