There are all sorts of strange things happening in the world these days. Some of them just aren't to be believed. In the "learn something new every day" department, and in-keeping with strange things, how about the fact that becoming popular in some parts of India these days, are gender determination kits, which are bought to facilitate sex selective abortions - to kill off female babies. This shouldn't surprise me on a planet where female circumcision is overlooked by even UNICEF (except in a very cursory fashion), and the wholesale slaughter of unfavourable daughters is a matter of honour - for men.
