Worst damage you ever took in a fight?

I've never been in a fight, physical or otherwise. I think I've had shouting matches with people, but those don't count really. I take no damage from loud obnoxiousness. It doesn't affect me at all. Growing up with an alcoholic teaches you some good things sometimes - one of them, in my case, is not being freaked out by people shouting at you. It's just bluster. It'll piss me off, but I wouldn't say it ever damages me.

What does get me, what is, for me, as the cartoonised younger version of Barbra Walters says on Family Guy, the siwwent kiwwer, are quiet things, digs, slights, insults. Those things get under my armour, through the chinks. Those things get me, get me in the worst ways possible. They are the sources of my worst externally inflicted damage.
