I've been witnessing, of late, someone trying to take something that is essentially a casual affair, and turn it into a strict and formalised one. Let it go, bub. It's casual for a reason. If you try to formalise everything around you, stratify everything, label and box everything up, then you probably have serious control issues that need to be addressed. I like casual things, myself; not that there's anything wrong with formal things - they have their place. But I am made entirely uncomfortable when something that is meant to be fun and free, is coerced into a codified little box by someone without enough gumption or wit to find some other outlet or cure for their control-freak issues.
