Do you seek attention or hide from it?

I want people to notice me but I don't consciously seek attention or do the things normally associated with extroverted or outgoing types.

I've never been one to assert or insinuate myself. I've never known how to do it and have it feel honest; have it such that I could be certain I was wanted.

I do not like being the centre of attention. I like to feel a part of things.

I can be good, chatty company, but I am given to shyness and un-surety (for lack of a better word). I need to feel comfortable, or drawn out.
