I once read that the most sensuous, most erotic, sounds a person hears,
comes from their own name being spoken to them by their partner, by the
right voice. For me, I'm not so certain; I think it requires a little more
than that, but I do understand. The right voice, speaking the right words,
at the right time, in the right place, can make you melt like butter -
it's almost like an invisible key clicks in the tumblers of a lock to your
psyche that you didn't know you had. I think this is why accents are so
powerful.
